The history of Châtillon-en-Bazois is inextricably linked to that of its castle, a former medieval fortress that once belonged to the Count of Nevers . Perched on a rocky spur, bordered by the Canal du Nivernais and the Aron River , this family home is a true haven of peace steeped in history. - La triple lock of Chavance, which allows the crossing of a difference in altitude of almost 7 meters with its three juxtaposed airlocks.
- Le Fleury Needle Dam ; one of the 124 needle dams remaining in France.
