Le Barrage à aiguilles
The Fleury needle dam built in 1837 in the town of Biches is a rarity since it is one of the last 12 needle dams on the Nivernais canal and one of the 124 existing in France.
Its aim was to create a water reservoir to supply the canal in the event of an insufficient level.
It constitutes a place of leisure appreciated by the local population and summer visitors.
