Romantic wellness weekend
3 days / 2 peopleNeed to reconnect, slow down, or simply rekindle the flame? Treat yourselves to a break together, away from the everyday routine.
For a weekend, make room for simple pleasures: a charming bed and breakfast, walks hand in hand, cozy moments at the spa… in Saint-Honoré-les-Bains, everything invites relaxation and complicity, in the heart of the preserved landscapes of the Morvan.
Settling into one's cocoon
Settle into Maison des Nids d'Angel , a vibrant and inspiring place to recharge in a unique way . Between a garden perfect for meeting new people, a warm interior, and an environmentally conscious approach, savor a romantic getaway focused on sharing, tranquility, and slowing down, just steps from the Saint-Honoré-les-Bains thermal baths.
Before the day ends, set off to discover the spa town . The avenues lined with century-old trees take on golden hues, the Belle Époque villas reveal their elegance, and the fresh autumn air already makes you want to slow down.
At the turn of a bench or in an alley, let time stretch out. Here, we don't try to see everything: we simply enjoy being together.
In the evening, take a seat at La Table du Végas . Behind the large glass roof overlooking the thermal park, savor generous French cuisine showcasing local produce : homemade foie gras, frog legs, pike-perch, and dry-aged meats. A romantic dinner that naturally extends into a few intimate moments at the Casino , where you can try your luck or simply enjoy the evening's refined atmosphere.
A day to take care of yourself
After a leisurely breakfast, set off to explore the Étang Boiré trail . This 11 km route winds through hamlets on the border between the Bazois and Morvan regions. Between meadows, hedgerows, and vibrant undergrowth, the landscape offers a beautiful immersion in the colors of autumn . An ideal hike to share a moment in nature, far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
If you are staying the last weekend of September, treat yourself to the Gourmet Stroll . Under the trees of the thermal park, local specialties can be discovered during a friendly walk where local produce, heritage and nature meet at every stage.
In the afternoon, head to the Spa des Thermes . Thermal pool, body treatments or massages… everyone creates their own wellness break before the end of the thermal season (17/10/2026).
Stepping out of the spa, the warmth of the water gives way to the invigorating freshness of autumn. Hand in hand, enjoy a stroll through the Country Park . Here, you walk without constraint, simply for the pleasure of breathing , listening to the rustling of leaves, and admiring the trees adorned in their golden hues.
In the evening, head to Clos de la Bussière in Sémelay, a charming restaurant where the flavors of Burgundy take center stage: Charolais beef, scallops in Noilly Prat… Let yourself be seduced by generous, homemade cuisine inspired by seasonal produce, in the warm setting of a charming, unspoiled village. A gourmet moment to share for two , amidst the colors of autumn.
Prolong the sweetness
Before leaving the spa town, treat yourselves to one last romantic interlude at Arno Show . In his workshop, stoneware is transformed through throwing, modeling, stamping, and color play, giving birth to utilitarian or decorative pieces with a decidedly humorous character . Open on Sundays by appointment, this workshop offers a unique visit to extend, with a smile, this autumn getaway dedicated to relaxation and togetherness.
You will resume your journey with a slightly lighter breath, your cheeks still rosy from the fresh autumn air, and your mind at peace. In Saint-Honoré-les-Bains, autumn is an invitation to slow down, to take care of oneself and to fully savor the joy of being together. A timeless interlude that gives full meaning to The Call of Autumn on the Rives du Morvan.
